JOIN US FOR AN EXCLUSIVE PROFESSIONAL GROOMING EVENT FEATURING ACCOMPLISHED MEMBERS OF THE GLOBAL EDUCATIONAL TEAM
The tour begins with a 2 day presentation weekend, giving professional groomers, students, salon owners, competitors, breeders and handlers the opportunity to meet the Global Grooming Team and discover their individual areas of expertise. Attendees can then create a personalised education plan by selecting workshops and limited on-on-one sessions for the following week.
MEET THE GLOBAL EDUCATION TEAM
Jayde Salmone – Breed Stylist. Learn how to assess a dog’s structure and create technically, beautifully balanced grooms using advanced scissoring, shaping and finishing techniques. Jayde will share practical methods for improving symmetry, proportion and the overall quality of your finished breed style grooms.
Ryan Dasalla – Professional Cat Groomer. Explore feline behaviour, safe handling, coat preparation and professional cat styling. Ryan will demonstrate popular styles, including Lion Clips and creative feline trims, while explaining how to achieve professional results safely and efficiently.
Rey Salmone – Asian Fusion and Creative Grooming. Discover modern Asian Fusion styling, expressive facial shaping, pom pom ears and creative design. Rey will also share techniques for the professional use of colour and explain how to create balanced, distinctive styles for different breeds and coat types.
Roger Gamalo – Show Grooming and Judging Standards. Learn the important differences between salon and show grooming, including coat preparation, breed profile, presentation and technical finishing. Roger will also explain the finer details judges look for when assessing a professionally prepared dog.

The opening weekend provides an opportunity to watch the Global Team present live grooming demonstrations, discuss international techniques and answer questions.
Saturday 17 October – Modern Salon and Creative Grooming
Explore the techniques behind beautifully balanced breed styles, modern asian fusion grooms and eye catching creative designs through live presentations from the Global Education Team.
Presentation Includes:
- Breed styling, structural balance and advanced scissoring techniques
- Asian fusion grooming, expressive faces and modern salon styles
- Creative design, professional colour application and finishing techniques
- Live grooming demonstrations with interactive question and answer sessions
Sunday 18 October – Feline and Competition Grooming
Explore the specialist skills involved in professional cat grooming and show preparation, together with valuable insight into competition standards and the qualities judges look for in a finished groom
Presentation Includes
- Professional cat grooming, feline behaviour and safe handling techniques
- Show preparation, breed presentation and technical finishing
- Competition standards and professional judging insight
- Guidance on selecting workshop and private tuition information
During the presentation weekend, visitors can meet the Global Team and discuss their individual experience, interests and professional goals.
Attendees can then register and book in their individual education schedule for the following Monday to Friday by selecting the workshops most relevant to their needs and applying for limited private one-on-one sessions.
Attendance at the complete week is not required. Participants may choose individual presentations, workshops or private sessions.
Specialist Education Week 19-23 October
Monday 19 October – Advanced Breed Styling and Scissoring
Presented by Jayde Salmone – A focussed workshop covering structure, balance, symmetry, advanced scissoring, technical correction and professional finishing.
Tuesday 20 October – Professional Cat Grooming
Presented by Ryan Dasalla – A specialist workshop covering feline behaviour, safe handling, coat preparation and professional cat grooming techniques.
Wednesday 21 October – Asian Fusion and Creative Grooming
Presented by Rey Salmone – A practical workshop covering asian fusion shape, facial styling, pom pom ears, creative design, colour placement and finishing techniques.
Thursday 22 October – Show Grooming and Judging Standards
Presented by Roger Gamalo – A specialist workshop covering coat preparation, breed profile, show presentation, technical finishing and judging expectations.
Friday 23 October – Private Education and Professional Groom Critiques
The final day will provide limited private tuition, individual groom critiques and personalised education with members of the Global Team. Sessions may focus on:
- Breed styling and advanced scissoring
- Professional cat grooming
- Asian fusion and creative grooming
- Show or competition preparation
- Technical correction and groom improvement
- Individual professional development goals
Entry
- Workshop Entry: $50 per day
- Weekend Guest Entry: $20 per day

These exclusive sessions will be tailored to each participants experience, goals and chosen area of grooming.
Participants may receive practical tuition, individual technical correction, competition guidance or professional critique of previous work
Places will be strictly limited and must be booked during the presentation weekend.
