Australia welcomes some of the leading international professional Master Groomers and Judges for an exclusive educational tour.
This unique event has been created to bring the international grooming industry to Australia, giving Australian groomers the opportunity to learn the latest techniques, trends and competition standards being used internationally. This is your opportunity to stay at the forefront of the professional grooming industry and gain insights into the techniques that are influencing grooming competition and salons around the world.
Jayde Salmone, Award winning Professional Groomer in various classes of Breed Style Standards. Jayde is recognised for producing beautifully balanced, technically correct grooms. During his demonstrations Jayde will explain how to create correct structure, balance coat finish and presentation using advanced scissoring techniques. He will also conduct hands on workshops on live dogs, helping groomers refine their technical skills and develop greater confidence. Jayde will be available for Q&A time at the completion of his workshop.
Ryan Dasalla, An award winning Cat Grooming Artist. Ryan will be sharing his knowledge on cat temperament and feline behaviour. Ryan will be demonstrating popular trims including lion clip, dinosaur clip, boots on and pom pom tails whilst explaining how to achieve professional results safely and efficiently. Q&A time available during demonstrations. Bring some photos of your grooms for some constructive critique and advice.
Rey Salmonte – Award winning groomer in Asian fusion in obtaining the very cute pom pom ears and designer smile. Rey will be doing live demonstrations on asian fusion grooming styles. He will also be doing a work shop on creative grooming and the use of colour and technique to obtain the desired outcome. This will be a fun workshop so book in early. Rey will also be taking Q&A through out his demonstrations and offering one on one educational blocks over the course of 1 week for those that bring their own dogs.
Roger Gono – Roger is a very accomplished groomer well known amongst his peers for working in his unique field of show grooming. Roger grooms and prepares all classes of dogs to look their best in their breed for their owners to participate in dog shows. Rogers work in this area has given him a name in that area of the industry due the his clients winning Best in Class and Best in Show awards for their dogs. He is much sort after in this niche industry of dog show grooming. Roger will be conducting a workshop on the difference in preparing and grooming a dog for shows as opposed to comfort grooming a pooch who is a family member on their 6 weekly grooming schedule.
