Grooming Assistant
This course is for the students wanting to get into the pet industry as a Grooming Assistant with the intention of building their skills on the job.
In this course you will learn everything you need to know to become a Grooming Assistant or Washer Dryer. No experience is needed in the pet grooming industry to enrol in this course.

- Washing and drying techniques
- Brushing and de-matting techniques
- De-shedding techniques
- Cutting nails
- Cleaning ears
- Shampoo suitability
- Shave pads and trim paws
- Sanitary clip
- Pre bath clip off
- Infection Control
- Provide basic grooming services for companion animal comfort
- Maintain and monitor animal health and well being
COURSE DURATION
This course goes for 2 weeks and can be covered full time or part time
